For the 2018-2019 Season we have decided to adopt a new handicap system. This works as follows: All players will start off with their revised 2018 handicap, if you win a match your handicap is reduced by three points unless you are in a minus handicap whereas it increases by three points.
For example: Alastair plays off +27 he wins so his next weeks handicap is +24. Terry plays off -86 he wins also so his next weeks handicap is -89. It is the responsibility of each team captain to make sure their team plays off the correct handicap. If a team member plays using the wrong handicap then the following will apply.
Alastair on +27 is playing Peter on -99. Alastair wins the game 100-85 points however Alastair started with a handicap of +30 so started on the wrong handicap.
He therefore automatically loses the game and forfeits 25 points from the aggregate therefore the game result would be Alastair 75 -100 Peter.
If you use the wrong handicap you lose your game and forfeit 25 points from the Team Aggregate.
